GNU Telephony is a meta project dedicated to the development and promotion of the use of free software for telephony. This team maintains support and planning for a number of free software packages that are part of the GNU Telecom Subsystem and the GNU Project that are being packaged for use in Ubuntu GNU/Linux, including GNU Common C++, GNU Bayonne, and GNU SIP Witch. Packages related to GNU Telephony Secure Calling, including GNU ZRTP and the Twinkle softphone with latest ZRTP support will also be found here. We also support a number of special and additional telephony related free software packages for use with Ubuntu GNU Linux.
