This team is maintained for the IT department of the Information School (or "iSchool") of the University of Washington. We build packages to support the operation of our Linux servers that provide both internal services for our students, faculty, and staff, as well as external services providing information and resources for our partners and the public at large.

We currently have 3 dedicated servers running Ubuntu 8.04, and 1 server running Debian Etch. We also support and a small number of virtual machines (running 8.04) at any given time, depending on the requirements of the faculty of the current quarter.

In addition to our GNU/Linux machines, we also operate about a dozen or so Windows servers, running a combination of 2003 and 2008. The school also maintains 2 computers labs, with about 40 computers each, which dual boot Mac OS X and Windows Vista.
